Donosimo vam nekoliko starih, ali stvarno dobrih revolucionarnih pjesama. Evergreena borbe. Njihova strast i poziv na otpor aktualni su i danas, dok različitost kultura, melodija i jezika na kojima su spjevane svjedoče o internacionalizmu borbe za pravedniji i bolji svijet – tako vidljivom na Trgu Syntagma, Minsku, Tahiru, Lisabonu, Trafalgaru, Beogradu, Tunisu, zagrebačkim ulicama, Rijeci… Legendarna „A las Barricadas“ (Na barikade) bila je jedna od najpopularnijih pjesama španjolskih anarhista tijekom španjolske revolucije i građanskog rata. „A las Barricadas“ pjeva se na melodiju starije poljske skladbe pod nazivom Warszawianka skladane 1905. godine. Riječ „Confederación“ u zadnjem stihu pjesme odnosi se na anarhosindikalistički CNT (Confederación Nacional del Trabajo – Nacionalna konfederacija rada), koji je u to vrijeme bio najveća sindikalna središnjica i glavna anarhistička organizacija u Španjolskoj te značajna revolucionarno-antifašistička kost u grlu Francisca Franca.

Eto i nje – ipak je teško preskočiti „Internacionalu“. Riječi najpoznatije socijalističke, anarhističke i komunističke pjesme napisao je Eugène Pottier 1871., a melodiju Pierre de Geyter1888., kada je postala svojevrsna himna cjelokupnog radničkog pokreta. Od tada je prevedena na brojne svjetske jezike i tradicionalno se pjeva s podignutom stisnutom šakom. Evo i prijevoda na naški – ignorirajte sovjetske simbole i stisnite šaku čvrsto.

„A la Huelga Companerõs“ (U štrajk drugovi) je još jedna pjesma iz perioda španjolske revolucije. Primjenjiva u bilo kojem štrajku i neposluhu – zgrabite gitaru i isprobajte.

Florence Reece napisala je 1931. godine „Which side are you on?“ (Na čijoj ste strani?) tijekom velikog štrajka rudara u Kentuckyu. U ovoj verziji izvodi je legendarni američki folk pjevač i borac za ljudska prava Pete Seeger.

„The red flag“ (Crvena zastava) napisao je irski politički aktivist, radnik na dokovima i sindikalist Jim Connell davnog prosinca 1889. Crvena boja, simbol borbe za socijalnu jednakost, utkana je i u anarhističke zastave – samo nek' je vjetra.

The people's flag is deepest red,

It shrouded oft our martyred dead,

And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold,

Their hearts' blood dyed its every fold.

Jedan od najbolji i najprevođenijih dječjih pisaca s ovih prostora i autor čuvene „Ježeve kućice“, srpski pisac Branko Ćopić bio je i aktivan sudionik antifašističkog pokreta. Njegova „Pjesma mrtvih proletera“ živi je svjedok vremena drugog svjetskog rata kada je stradao odred krajiških proletera.

„El pueblo unido jamàs serà vencido“ (Ujedinjeni narod nikad neće biti poražen), čileanska je pjesma nastala 1973. Inicijalno je skladana kao himna vlade narodnog jedinstva, reflektirajući duh masovne mobilizacije čileanske radničke klase koja je 1970. izabrala marksista Salvadora Allende za predsjednika Čilea. Nakon toga ni Allende, ni čileanski socijalizam nisu dugo poživjeli.

„Si me quieres escribir“ (Ako mi želiš pisati) još je jedna odlična pjesma iz perioda Španjolskog građanskog rata.

„Di shvue“ (Zakletva) napisao je Semyon Ansky 1902. Ova pjesma na jidišu postala je himna čuvenog socijalističkog židovskog Bunda – organizacije posvećene borbi protiv ruskog cara i internacionalnog kapitalizma. Nekada se na radničkim demonstracijama širom ruskog carstva „Zakletva“ mogla čuti jednako često kao i „Internacionala“. Melodija i tekst bili su poput samog Bunda - fuzija socijalizma, internacionalizma i židovske kulture.

Francuski pjevač, pjesnik, skladatelj i anarhist Léo Ferré opjevao je anarhiste u svojoj melankoličnoj „Les anarchistes“.

Nisu nam ni Portugalci ostali dužni revolucionarnih melodija i drugarskih riječi – „Avante, camarada“ (Naprijed drugovi)

Joe Hill (1879.-1915.) bio je radnički aktivist, folk pjevač i gitarist i član američkog revolucionarnog sindikata IWW (Industrial Workers of the World). „There is Power in the Union“ (Postoji snaga u sindikatu) jedna je od njegovih najpoznatijih pjesama koju u ovoj verziji izvodi još jedan folk pjevač Utah Phillips. Legendarni Joe Hill strijeljan je 1915. nakon namještenih optužbi za umorstvo. Posljednje riječi su mu bile „Pucajte!“ Nakon smrti legendarni je pjevač nije zaboravljen – skromno, ali odlučno progovarao je iz pjesama sljedećih generacija, poput ove koji izvodi Joan Baez.

Tih godina na Apeninskom poluotoku bila je na usnama svih anarhista, komunista, socijalista i antifašista i tijekom godina doživjela je brojne obrade poput - svoj doprinos su dali i Manu Chao i Čambavamba.
